Obituary of John Albert Dalziel

John Albert Dalziel passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care unit of Regina Pasqua Hospital on January 23, 2021, after a brief battle with cancer. He was born June 10, 1940 and grew up in Oxbow, Saskatchewan. Leaving school at an early age, he had varied occupations, including a stint in the navy, years living and working in the USA, and caring for the grounds and vegetation at Wascana Park. John’s favourite times were spent enjoying coffee and a visit with friends, and on local lakes reeling in his latest catch. John is survived by his life partner of 37 years, Sylvia Surdu. He will be remembered by his brothers, Bob (Judy) and Jim; Sylvia and her children, and the grand kids who always knew him as Papa.
