Life is like a garden.
Everything, tended to properly, will grow, including love...
but with the love growing everyday, how can we ever expect the missing you to ever fade away?
Everything grows, including our ability to remember, without pain, and to cope with the loss.
That’s how we keep going.
Thank you Terry for including me in your beautiful garden. It was incredibly well tended. I will be forever grateful for the memories.
Much love always,
Your daughter in law, Tanya.

One of the kindest, most generous and caring men I know I will ever have met. I had the honour of meeting Terry and his family through his grandchildren and their time at Sandcastles but while their time with us came to an end, Terry and Mary never hesitated to say hello or drop by with donations for the kids. Truly heartbroken to hear this news. Running into Terry and Mary, whether mid-way through their daily stroll or bumping into them at the store always did my heart good! Sympathy and hugs to all the family. This man will truly be missed by many. ❤️

Mary and Family .What lovely memories you have of a wonderful Dad and husband. We too have good memories of a great neighbor (in two different neighborhoods..) We had many conversations over the backyard fence and on the street.. He had so many talents and will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace dear friend. Norm and Rose Stepan

I met Terry the first time when I volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. He was an experienced house builder and I was a newbie. He was highly thought of by H for H and helped me learn and stopped me taking shortcuts. He had high standards and worked on many builds.
Over the years we often met for coffee and discussed the worlds problems and how to solve them! Woodworking and family were also frequent topics. He was particularly fond of his grandchildren.
Terry was a true gentleman and a good friend. I will miss him and the occasional telephone conversations since I moved to Ottawa.
My condolences to you Mary and the family.

I worked with Terry in the old days when there was a Saskatchewan Government Department called Mineral Resources. Later our paths crossed at many different places. Most recently Leone and I met Terry and Mary at the U of R gym where we all trying to maintain our physical fitness. Terry and I walked and talked our way around many laps on the track. Terry was always a pleasure to be with-- very positive and upbeat in his outlook. He will be missed.

I hit the jackpot in terms of a mother- and father-in-law when I met and married Lindsay. Mary and Terry welcomed me into their lives and I gained a wonderful family. I’ll always remember Terry as a warm, wise, creative and caring man and loving grandfather to our daughter Chloe. Mary and Terry had something special. You could see the love they had for each other. Spending time with them was soothing, like a big warm hug. I’m so grateful to have known Terry and to have such an amazing mother-in-law. We miss you Terry!
