Obituary of Shaylena Marie Kay

Shaylena “Shay” Marie Kay passed away unexpectedly at her home in Regina on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the age of 19 years.  Shay is lovingly remembered by her siblings Kenyon (Aleksandra), Ivye, Shane, and Darcey; mother Penny Kay; aunt Ellenor; her uncle Trevor; and countless friends.

Shay enjoyed baking, hanging out with her friends, going to the movies, and shopping. She could often be found doing her make-up, picking out a new outfit, and listening to Eminem. Most importantly, Shay had a deep love for her brothers and sister. She cherished the time they spent together and was proud to be a "Kay.”

Shay brought so much love and joy to those around her. She had a contagious laugh and a smile that could light up the room. She truly was a beautiful person inside and out and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A private service will be held.
