Obituary of Annie Margaret Seitz

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Annie Margaret Seitz (Kesslering). Annie was born May 25, 1918 and she passed away February 21, 2021 at the age of 102 at the Deep South Personal Care Home, Pangman, Sask.  She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Marion Kesslering; brothers and sisters-in-law: John and Anna, Martin (Mike) and Eva, Max and Elsie; first husband Steve Wingert and second husband George Seitz.  Annie will be lovingly remembered by nieces, Yvonne Kessler and Maxine Kesslering and numerous great-nieces and nephews. Annie grew up in the Parry, Sask. area.  She married Steve Wingert and they farmed near Regina, Sask. They moved into Regina after they were done farming.  Annie’s hobbies included playing musical instruments and she and Steve played for many dances.  Annie curled out of the Regina Curling Club. In 1973 she was on the First Canadian Senior Ladies Curling Championship representing Saskatchewan in Ottawa. In 1976 Annie’s curling team scored an Eight Ender without the last rock –a rarity. Annie was a great gardener and cook. Steve passed away and some years later Annie married George Seitz. George and Annie remained living in Regina with many trips to the farm.  After George passed away, Annie remained living in Regina until her health failed. Annie moved to the Deep South Personal Care Home in Pangman, Sask., until her passing on February 21, 2021. Special Thanks to the Care Home and the Pangman Ambulance Staff for their great care. A graveside service will be held in Riverside Memorial Park, Regina, SK on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
