Friendship, love, games and good food. Gertie and Bill opened their home to many including me when I arrived in Regina to marry James. We enjoyed many good times with them and their family. Dear John, Gord, Deb, Liz, Karen, Dan and family this comes with my love and sincere condolences at your Mom’s passing. She will be fondly remembered. I remember Mr. and Mrs. McFarlane (as we, who were children, were taught to call our elders) as a very kind and loving couple. They were gentle, easy to talk with, and always had a ready smile on their faces. Having known them for a short time as a child and having read their obituary, I know they lived a life that exemplified the life of their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and are now enjoying His eternal presence.
