Obituary of Pauline Agnes Craggs
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Pauline Agnes Craggs, beloved daughter, mother, nana, sister, auntie, and friend. Her journey ended peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2021 surrounded by her family at the age of 65 years. Pauline was born on July 13, 1955 in Redvers, SK. She was predeceased by her father, Rosario German; husbands, Charles Klaus and Barry Craggs; and sister, Isabelle Barker. Pauline leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Claire; daughters Nichole Klaus (Dwayne) and Judy (Matthew) Desmarais; grandchildren Kaleb, Alexis, Chance and Jasper; siblings Maurice (Cynthia), Margaret (Brian), Eddie, Claude (Donna), Dianne (Larry) and Bryant (George); as well as many extended family and great friends. She will be remembered for her affectionate smile, contagious laughter, generosity, and unconditional love that would light up the room and leave a lasting impression on everyone she met. Pauline loved the outdoors; especially in the summer at her brother`s cabin playing horseshoes, boating, and visiting with family. She also enjoyed camping, and going on “family adventures.” Pauline loved animals and would be caught feeding peanuts to the squirrels and birds while having her morning coffee. She would sit for hours on the beach working on her Sudoku puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren, who she loved dearly. She worked as an accountant for SaskTel most of her life and always put others first. Her commitment to community service was impeccable. Pauline has made many lasting impressions working on various organizations such as: Wascana Manor Condo Association, Wascana Rhythmic Gymnastics Club, Saskatchewan Volleyball Association, and the British Columbia American Marketing Department. We will cherish her memories and in our hearts her spirit will live on and never be forgotten. The family would like to express a special thank you to the amazing staff of the ICU Flex 3 department at the Saskatoon Royal University Hospital and to the Saskatchewan Air Ambulance Service. A viewing will take place on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please contact Speers Funeral Chapel to schedule a time for viewing. A CELEBRATION OF PAULINE’S LIFE will be held at a later date.
