Obituary of John Lester Charles Cummings

John passed away peacefully on March 1, 2021 in Regina, SK at the General Hospital.  He was predeceased by his parents Lester and Nancy Cummings; his infant brother David and his brother Art.   John will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Marie-Anne and Stella; his brother Cecil and by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially by his many friends at Santa Maria.  John loved to keep up with current events, especially if it was politically centered, he loved a good debate. John enjoyed listening to many genres of music, but preferred the 70’s. As a man who had an ability to read and understand people, he loved  enjoying a conversation with family or friends over a smoke and cup of coffee. To his family and those who knew him best, he was a fighter, overcoming and persevering through his lifelong issues with mental Illness, an example to all of us.  Due to COVID, a private funeral service, by invitation only, will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
