Debbie was born in Kindersley, SK on April 24th, 1967.  She spent much of her early years wowing her Mum with her extraordinary intelligence, amazing eyes, beautiful smile and an incredible head of thick curly hair.  She enjoyed fishing with her Dad, catching her first fish with a pop can tab and string. She loved to go to her grandparents farm in Plenty, SK and spent her holidays surrounded by her family.  Debbie graduated from Convent of The Child Jesus in 1985 in North Battleford, SK.  She went on to Marvel School in Saskatoon and furthered her education, becoming a Journeyman Hairdresser. She later pursued her avid interest in photography, running a studio in Edmonton, AB, and continued freelance photography after leaving Edmonton.  Her life took her on a different journey bringing her to Regina, where she found a sense of accomplishment giving back to the community through her work with the elderly for many years.  Debbie lived a quiet life in Regina. She was a free spirit who adored all kinds of music, books and art. She collected teapots, adored purple dragons and tea parties with her niece, and loved to spend time with her cats. She was an amazing artist, creating stained glass artworks and crocheting colorful afghans.  Debbie's smile would light up a room while her laughter filled it, to where you couldn't help but laugh in her presence.  Everything she gave of herself in life, made the world a better more wonderful place.  Debbie was a beautiful person inside and out.  She was loved by everyone who knew her, and taken from us far too soon.

Donations in memory of Debbie may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association – Saskatchewan Division, 2702 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1J2.
