Obituary of Barry Wayne Kentz

Born to Katy and Edward Kentz on October 15, 1960, Barry passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the age of 60 years. Cherishing his memory are his siblings Allen and Lorraine Kentz; Linda Kentz; Terry and Leslie (nee Coule) Kentz; Leo Kentz; Emily Kentz and Bonnie (Singh) Kentz; Barry’s absolute pride and joy, his niece who he helped raise since birth Kathy Singh; his friend Jack William who he loved as a brother; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Barry embodied the qualities of kindness and loyalty. He made everyone he loved feel special in his own way, even if it was to make that person laugh. Barry also had a love for animals, especially cats and dogs. He never forgot a memory of his family because he would tell them over and over again to anyone who would listen because to Barry family was more important than anything else. He unconditionally loved, supported, and encouraged his sister Bonnie and her daughter Kathy over the years. Barry was also a fan of all sports but his favorite was CFL football and he took pride in his favorite team. He cheered them on win or lose, it was always Saskatchewan Roughriders. Barry had a strong Christian faith. He passed away in his home where he lived with Bonnie and Kathy. We will miss Barry more than you will ever know, he was a special person you never wished to let go. We will find peace in knowing that he is comfortably in heaven and will no longer suffer. A private Graveside Service will take place on Monday, March 22, 2021.
