We're sorry to hear of Doug's passing. We had the privilege of meeting Doug and Sherran at church as their "usual spot to sit" was just behind us! We always saw Doug as a quiet man with a twinkle in his eye that spoke volumes about his personality and about his love for Sherran. My fondest memory of Doug was sitting in a relaxed manner, slightly behind Sherran who had a gift of drawing people into a conversation. Doug was comfortable with his silence, but through his smile, it was evident that he admired Sherran's gift of connecting with others and that he was genuinely interested in the conversations around him. We will often think of Doug and his gentle ways. He will be missed. We trust in brighter days ahead for the Hartall family and we're thinking of you in a special way.
