I am so sorry for your loss, Jaxon was such an amazing kid and probably one of the funniest guys I have ever met, we became friends in the second grade over at Perry and little did I know that in grade nine at Campbell Collegiate his CAP room would be across from mine and he would be in my health class in the second semester.
RIP Jaxon you will be very missed

Dani/Braden, Janine/Roger and families. Our heartfelt condolences on the loss of Jaxon. We feel very blessed to have had the chance to meet Jaxon along with Burke at our place in Phoenix. We found Jaxon was a very mature polite young man and now we know why. Having watched the touching tributes and realizing all the wonderful people he had in his life explains it all. Please take comfort in knowing his life, although way to short was wonderful and one that he obviously lived to the fullest. In our hearts and prayers.

He was a born witty, sweet, kind and loved to tease to us and the kids here. He told us he was “just teasing” about duplo found in the toilet with his buddy Ethan, they never flushed any!! our deepest condolences to all who knew him. Especially Dan, I always said you were my best mother in my daycare. I dreamed of you last week, and I got a big hug from Jaxon. Jaxon, you were an absolute honour to teach. I will never forget those eyelashes batting at me whenever you wanted to be dismissed early at the end of the day. You had a sense of humor and wit that sometimes only the adults in the room would understand. You got a smile out of me each and every day that you were in my classroom. I can't remember you ever having a bad day. You often made mine better.
You were wise beyond your years with so much potential. You were a friend to all, excelled at anything you tried, had a strong work ethic but always carried yourself with a humble heart. You were a teacher's dream!
We used to have this long standing joke that I would see you on TV years down the line. " You are going to be famous one day!" I would often say. I will then tell everyone I know, " yup I taught that kid!" Jaxon that still applies here. I am proud to have known you. Proud to have taught you. My heart breaks for your family and friends. A life cut too short. The world was your oyster.
You Jaxon are one that people looked up to. A trend setter. One who always left his mark. You are a student that I will never forget buddy. Your absence will be felt by so many.

For the past 7 years we have seen Jaxon in his backyard, playing hockey, having fun with his sisters, and enjoying time with his family. We didn't have to go too far back to find a picture of Jaxon. This was a few weeks ago when he was playing hockey and our daughter, Anaya, went up to say hi.

I knew Jaxon when i was in grade 8, when i moved here. he was the nicest guy i’ve met that time. he made me feel welcome to the school, he would make so much jokes and made us all laugh. he would come to my house just to hang out and sing karaoke with my parents sometimes too. when i moved to campbell, on our very first day he approached me and let me meet some of his friends cause he knew i won’t make friends anytime soon. he let me hang with him sometimes during lunch, he was with me for like 2 weeks until i got the hang of it. i never get to say thank you to him for everything he has done for me. he is a very special person to me, and i know i’ve known him for only 2 years, he will always have a special place in my heart and in my family’s heart. i am still in shock about what happened to him, my prayers and condolences goes to his family and to his friends. he is in better place now. my family, friends, his friends, his family and everyone who knows him loves him, and he will be deeply missed.

I spent all of grade 9 english (plus social class) with Jaxon. At the beginning of the year we became good friends and we were always goofing around and talking in class. I can vividly remember all the times he would challenge our teacher which lead to (most of the time) half hour debates. He was such a kind hearted spirit and just a fun person to be around. Whether it was sneaking up on you in the halls or just saying something funny. He truly was such a wonderful and bright person. It’s terrible that he was taken so soon but I’m glad I have happy many memories with him❤️

Thoughts and condolences to Jaxon's family and close friends. He got along with other people at Campbell so easily, bringing so many smiles and laughter to all. I remember the first of many times Jaxon came to sit with my friends and I at lunch out of the blue, him somehow being able to relate to everyone despite being strangers. Jaxon will never leave our minds or hearts. Rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to Jaxon’s family. He was such a beautiful soul taken much to soon. I was lucky enough to teach Jaxon at Dr.Perry School. He was such a smart, funny, friendly, talented student. He always had a smile on his face and was always eager to participate anyway he could in the classroom and the school. He was well liked by everyone who knew him and he will be greatly missed. Jaxon will never be forgotten, he will always be in my heart as one of my Perry kids with a heart of gold and a smile that could light up a room. Rest In Peace Jaxon.❤️

I’m am thinking of everyone in this tough time. Jaxon was truly the light of many people’s lives and made so many people smile. I will never forget all the lunch hours him and I spent together in grade 9 and all the laughs him and I had. I have no words to describe how I feel right now. Jaxon bought me this hat last year and I will cherish it forever. We all miss and love him more than he’ll ever know.

I’m truly sorry that you are going through the pain of loosing such a bright spirit. Jaxon was way to smart for 10th grade. He could make absolutely anyone laugh and could show his smarts just by talking. I can’t imagine the pain you are going through and I deeply apologize for your lose of an amazing person who deserved longer to live. We all send our love to you and your family. Stay strong

So very sorry for your loss got to briefly meet this young man as he entered the rink lugging his hockey bag on his shoulder. I got to bug him about his Covid check if it was done. When it wasn’t he just smiled and politely answered the questions. Said thanks chuckled and kept walking. He was linemates with Cade (my son) and Bradon was really pumped to see them was going to be a dominant line this year. Take care.

Our player-coach Jaxon "Reggie" MacDonald. We gave you that handle because, just like "Reggie Dunlop" in the hockey classic, Slapshot. You, Reggie, always had an insight and timely word for our team. I remember in a tournament last year, in Saskatoon, we were matched up against a real strong club and you addressed the team in the second intermission. You said, " boys, we have no business beating these guys, cause they are better than us" but you added, " But I know we have heart". In that 3rd period you scored 2 goals and assisted on another. We went on to beat that club and ended up winning the tournament. Reggie, you helped us win, not only as a team, but in life - with effort you put into all you put your mind to. We miss you ao much Reggie. Rest in Peace. Coach Jeff
