Obituary of Larrie Michael Macknak

Larrie Macknak, late of Dysart, Sask. passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 25, 2021. Predeceased by parents, Michael and Beatrice Macknak; brother Dennis Macknak; in-laws Mike and Lillian Kleckner; brothers-in-law Brian Schulhauser and Michael Kleckner; and nephew Jeffrey Snow. He is survived by his spouse, Brenda; sons Sean (Errin), Scott (Shannon), Steven (Nicole); grandchildren Maralli, Beatrice, Kody (Katie), Carson, Jazmin, Tessa, and Layla; grand dog Ryder; brother David (Ann); sister-in-law Sandy Macknak; in-laws Paulette (Ron) and Carol (Paul); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Larrie had a few occupations before settling on his passion working for the Village of Dysart as Maintenance Foreman for 30 plus years. He also enjoyed working with the RCMP, and farming with the boys. Larrie’s greatest passion was his family and watching his grandchildren at sports and activities. Thank you to the Doctors, homecare, and palliative nurses for their great support. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Due to Covid regulations, we are limited to family only. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist RC Cemetery.
