Judith Isbister

Obituary of Judith Ann Isbister

With so much sadness we are sharing with you the news of the sudden passing of Judith Ann Isbister (nee Jeffery) on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at the age of 75 years.

Judy was born in Melfort on January 14, 1946 to John and Nellie Jeffery, she was the youngest of 4 girls to the family.  Judy grew up and attended school in Melfort. She met David Isbister, and they married in November 1965. After a short move to Regina, they moved to Saskatoon where they started their family. Judy stayed at home caring for their 3 children, but also enjoyed working outside the home. She worked as an engraver at Stan Thompson Jewelers, Radio Shack and then Bazaar Novelty. Judy and David divorced and after some time Judy moved back to Regina in 1986, where she returned to work at Bazaar Novelty.  Following that she spent some time working at Creative Edge and after that she returned again to Bazaar where she worked until she retired.

Judy enjoyed her years of engraving and ads specialty and during her time with Bazaar she met so many amazing people.

Judy loved to help and took on the role of building manager where she lived. She happily and proudly looked after the building, and the tenants in it, and truly enjoyed what she did.   Judy also loved to knit and always had a wonderful gift of a dish cloth for all.  She loved to be socially active on Facebook.  Reconnecting with friends from the past and watching her family grow made Judy’s heart soar! She enjoyed caring for others and spending time with family as often as she could.

Judy was predeceased by her parents John and Nellie Jeffery; her sisters Gloria Seitz and Carol Pederson; and daughter JoAnne Wiebe (nee Isbister).

Judy will be so lovingly missed by her sister Lee Mjolid and family; son-in-law Lyle Wiebe,  grandchildren Eastlyn (Cody) Appleton and great-grandchildren Oscar and Iver, grandson Tristan Wiebe, granddaughter Natasha (Robert) Wiebe; son Darryl (Bobbie) Isbister and grandson Alexander; son Doug (Candy) Isbister and grandchildren Savannah (Eddie) and Tanner; as well as so many other family members and friends.

Judy was a caring, loving mother, grandmother and friend to many! She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date as soon as we can all gather!
