Bernadette Agi

Obituary of Bernadette Florence Agi

The family of Bernadette Agi is very sad to write of her sudden passing on April 5, 2021. Bernadette was born Bernadette Florence Ripplinger on June 3, 1948 in Regina. She was predeceased by her husband Giustino in 2008 and her son Fiorindo in 2006. She is survived by her son, Diono (Lauren) and grandson Amadeo and granddaughter Natalia Klein.

Bernadette was a strong influence in her children’s and grandchildren’s lives. She was very proud of granddaughter Natalia’s achievements in school and music and attended all her important events. She was pleased when grandson Amadeo was born on her birthday and they shared seven happy birthday celebrations together. Family get-togethers were very important to Bernadette and this was sorely missed in the past year. She was proud of her German heritage, throwing in a word in German the odd time. We will remember her laugh, and her kindness. We loved her cabbage rolls, punch, and the coffee cake that she made at Christmas. We can picture her behind the wheel of her little blue SUV that she loved zipping around in.

Bern came from a large blended family. She was predeceased by her parents Stefan and Florentina Ripplinger and siblings Adam, Joseph, Father Stephen, Daniel, Max, Anthony, Angelina, Frank (Rose Marie), Mary, and Arnold Ripplinger, and Al and Ted Selinger, and is survived by brothers Edwin (Donna) and Bernard (Angie) and brother-in-law Walter Rog.

Due to the pandemic, a funeral service will not be held. A private celebration of life may be held at a later date.
