Betty and the Neufeld Family -
I write to express to you and your family the sincere condolences of the Patricia’s on the passing of Arthur Neufeld.
It has been a long time since Art left the army, but he obviously kept his connection to that service, and of course the family is no doubt proud of that service that helped stop tyranny in Europe. The Regiment remembers Art’s service. His name will be read in this year’s list of the lost when we read that out on November 11th, 2021 in the Sacred Space in Beechwood, the National Military Cemetery, Ottawa. His name will also be listed in the 2021 edition of the Patrician’s Last Post section.
Thank you for obviously supporting Art throughout his life - 64 years of marriage is a feat in itself! We are glad that he had a vibrant family.
Should any of Art's family want to maintain a connection with the Regiment, a gratis three year Memorial Membership in the PPCLI Association is available. Contact Mr Herb Kenny, the Membership Chairman, at hkenny@shaw.ca, for details.
Thank you all.
Brigadier-General Vince Kennedy (Retired)
Colonel of the Regiment
Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry

It is with glad hearts that we see a life well lived, a life dedicated to the well-being of family and community. It is with sad hearts that we think of the weeks and months ahead, and the loss in the lives of those who are left behind. Uncle Art will be missed.
Dear Aunt Betty, Ian and Angus, and your families, may God bless you and keep you, in these challenging times.
Thank you, Angus and Ian, for sharing your dad with us through your stories and shared memories. Blessings to you.
Eugene and Marilyn

I always enjoyed a visit with Uncle Art and Aunt Betty. In 1974, when I was 16, Uncle Art helped me get a job at Robin Hood for the summer. That was great. And a few years ago, I was working in Regina and stayed at their place for a few weeks. It was good to reconnect. And watch a few football games! Go Blue Bombers! My condolences to Aunt Betty, Ian and Angus and families.
Brian and Karen Klassen.

Betty, so sorry to hear about the passing of Art. We have lost touch with the two of you throughout the years but we still think of you now and then. The two of you were great neighbors. I remember Art giving me some ferns from your garden. Keeeping you and the family in our thoughts and prayers. Marcy and Dave Westover.
