Obituary of Jeffrey Chad Gibbs
It is with great sadness and disbelief that we share news of the sudden passing of Jeffrey Chad Gibbs on Saturday, April 17th, 2021 at the young age of forty-four. Jeff was born to Marlon and Bernice on February 25th, 1977, and was raised in Regina with his older brother Evan. He met his future wife Pamela at the local Mr. Sub in April 1996. Their son Carter was born February 9th, 1998, their oldest daughter Kylie was born December 30th, 2000 and their youngest daughter Brianna was born June 1st, 2002. Jeff and Pamela married on April 14th, 2001. His granddaughter Raelyn was born November 20th, 2018.
Jeff was passionate at anything he did, and if he did not know how to do something, he learned how. He inherited his interest in restoring vehicles from his father. Jeff was involved with many projects throughout his life. He was very excited for his most recent project; his 1950’s Chevy Truck. Jeff has always been interested in music of all genres. As a child he learned how to play the drums, later in life he added guitar and piano to his repertoire. His hobby evolved to songwriting and producing, eventually accomplishing an affinity for multiple different instruments.
Once his first child was born, Jeff decided to pursue a career in flooring. He excelled at his flooring career, eventually operating his own business. Eventually his shoulder injuries forced him to drop the tools and pick up a management position. Jeff started at Restorex in 2012 where his co-workers became his greatest friends. He always put everything he had into what he did, whether it was his job, family, or his hobbies.
Jeff was an incredible son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. From the very beginning, he strived to create an environment where his family could grow into what it is today. Jeff always did whatever he could to help the people in his life. His granddaughter Raelyn was especially important to him as they shared a very special bond. Jeff always regarded his family as his greatest accomplishment, and his legacy will be cherished by many.
He is survived by: Pamela Gibbs, Carter Gibbs, Kylie Gibbs, Brianna Gibbs, Raelyn Gibbs, Marlon (Karen) Gibbs, Bernice (Bill) Morse, Betty (Doug) Waugh, Evan (Camille) Gibbs, Stacey (Chad) Wood, Monica Death, Tonya Warren, as well as his countless nieces, nephews, family, and friends he considered family.
