A true friend and very unique person. I shared a canvas tent with him one winter, in 40 below north Manitoba weather…. before he went off to Japan to become zen monk. I am so sorry to hear that Morley has passed away. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. Although Morley and I never met in person, we enjoyed many internet conversations and shared views on modern medicine, and politics. Morley was thoughtful and kind to me, and I always looked forward to reading his writing! Morley, I will miss you my friend. I had hoped we would actually meet someday. Our prayers and condolences to Merna and family on the passing of Morley. So sorry for your loss. He was special - often with a unique position on a particular topic. We knew him always as kind and caring. He looked after ensuring a group of our senior church ladies arrived each Sunday for worship, enjoyed the fellowship and were returned home happy and safely. Those ladies just loved Morley! He was always ready to welcome newcomers to our events and pour the coffee! Morley will be missed by all of his friends.
