ZINGER, Olga (nee Pelzer)

It is with great sadness that the family of Olga Zinger announces her peaceful passing on Monday, April 18, 2021 at the age of 86 years. 

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Edward who passed away in 2014; parents Samuel and Olga; brothers Karl, Wilhelm, Hermann, Anton (in infancy), and Albert (in infancy); sisters Hedwig, Hulda and Gertrude. 

Olga is survived by her son Erwin (Monica – predeceased); daughter Rosemarie (Robert) of Calgary, AB; grandchildren Erin Zinger of Regina, SK, Arden Zinger of Saskatoon, SK, Brendan Charron of Kelowna, BC, Calder (Faye) Leuty and Mason (Regina) Leuty of Calgary, AB; and great-grandchildren Peyton and Wyatt Leuty. She is also survived by her brother Erich (Joan) Pelzer along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Olga was born May 13, 1934 in Kazimierowka, Poland to German parents and immigrated to Canada at age 15 where she met and married Edward Zinger in 1953.  She relied on her strong faith to guide her and worked tirelessly to make a loving home for her family.
