Obituary of Maynard Michael John Desnomie

We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our beloved Maynard Desnomie. Maynard was born in Balcarres, SK on May 7, 1983 to parents Maynard Severight and Theresa Ann Desnomie. He passed away in Surrey, BC on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. Predeceased by his mother Theresa Desnomie; sisters, Connie and Patricia; Maynard is survived by his father Maynard Sr.; siblings, Charles, Colin, Helen, and Ivanna; nephew Tyrine and niece Cassandra. He will be sadly missed by his partner Wenonah Daniels; sons, Maynard, Destin and Kodiak; as well as numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. A time of reflection and remembrance will be held at the Elders Building, Peepeekisis First Nation, on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.  Funeral Service will follow at the Peepeekisis R.C. Church at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bert, Sr. Bernadette and Elder Robert Bellegarde officiating. Interment in Peepeekisis Cemetery.
