Obituary of Arne Joseph Unseth
Arne Unseth, of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2021 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by his wife, Doris, in 1995. Arne was also predeceased by his parents, Gilbert and Gina Unseth; siblings, Margaret, Petra, Gunder, Ina, Gerta and Palmer; nephew Gerald; and nieces, Karen, Lorraine, Sylvia and Irene. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Gail, Sharon, Judy, Gordon, Brian, Ingrid, Raymond, Nona, Eldon, Richard and Dale. Arne was born and raised in Govan, SK before embarking on his career in road construction. He owned and operated A. Unseth Earthmoving, which resulted in many Saskatchewan grids and rural roads that were built by him. Arne was a long time Rider fan and season ticket holder. He also believed in the preservation of history and donated his D7 bulldozer to the Sukanen Museum and his scraper to the Lumsden Museum. We would like to thank the staff at College Park I and the Regina General Hospital for the excellent care that they provided to Arne. A private family graveside service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 15, 2021.
