Obituary of Irvin Daniel Papequash

With heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of our brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend Irvin “Ivan” Daniel Papequash on May 17, 2021 in Edmonton, Alberta.

He will be met by family that predeceased him, mother Joan Desjarlais; sisters Barbara, Priscilla and Leanne; brother Harvey; grandparents Sid and Elizabeth Papequash; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members too numerous to mention.

Ivan will be sadly missed and remembered by his step-father Arnold; brother Kenneth; sisters Hertha (Darcy), Roberta (Warren Sr.) and Delores (Henry); special nephew Daryl; special niece Shay-lyn Brass; aunts Anita Papequash (Lloyd), Karen Nahnepowisk;  as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, aunts and uncles.

Wake will be held at the Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 4:30 p.m. – 12:00 midnight. Funeral Service will be held at the Speers Family Centre on Friday, May 28, 2021    at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Piapot First Nation.
