It started with a simple phone call Dick made to SIAST in Regina many years ago for computer assistance on a day I was teaching. The lady that took that call thought I would be the right guy to help him out. That call about 20 years ago started a friendship I have cherished for the many years we have stayed in touch. As anyone who knows Dick can tell you, he was a generous and warm person who was always a pleasure to have a chat with and always willing to help out. I will miss you RumRunner1250 and those emails that would simple say ' Please give me a call when you have the time'. Mostly I will miss the times you and Hilda would welcome me into your home and we would start chatting and almost forget to address the computer issue I came to help with. Thank you Dick for letting me share your life and making mine better for it. Hilda, my condolences and thank you for always making me feel very welcomed in your home.

A beautiful service by technology. Every word we heard to describe Dick was so true. He will be deeply missed as an example of the best that humans need more of in our troubled world. Anthony and Connie
