Obituary of Magdalena Michel

Magdalena (nee Kress) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 after a valiant struggle with COPD.  She is survived by her husband Charles “Carl”; three children, Darryl (Cindy), Dwayne (Clair) and daughter Tammy Lynn (Dean) Wolfe; grandchildren, Joel (Marley), Janelle (Sean) Gottschall, Matthew, James and Seth; one great-grandson Sam; her siblings: Francis Schatz, Katherine (Elmer) Degelman, Dolores Dreher (Jim); Lucille Kress; Virginia (Dennis) Wilke, Betty Ann (Clarence) Schneider,  Angela (Donald) Eberle and one brother Adam (Kathy); sister-in-law Darlene; brothers-in-law Dr. Joseph Michel (Tammy), and Frank Michel (Leigh); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Magdalena was predeceased by her parents Adam and Angelina Kress; sister Dorothy (John) Lang; brothers Joseph (Darlene) Kress, Anton (Jean) Kress and sister Anna Marie (Leo) Runge. Thanks to the Medical Staff at the Pasqua Emergency with special mention to Dr. Kathy Ferguson, Dr. Kyle MacDonald and some of the special nurses of ward 3B: Dakota, Andrea, Kendyl, Kiana and Jess. Due to covid restrictions there will not be a funeral service at this time. A private visitation will be held.  A Celebration of her life, will be announced at later date.
