Obituary of Lorraine Innes

The family of Lorraine Bertha Innes (nee Betteridge) are deeply saddened to announce her passing on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the age of 93 years. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons and daughter, Wayne (Wendy) Innes, Lyle (Deanne) Innes, and Sharon Gaber; “adopted children” Bonnie and Eddie; 7 grandchildren, Glenna (Dave) Kuntz, Dave (Jen) Innes, Desi Rostad, Charlie (Russ) Hermann, Stephie Gaber, Dilan Innes, and Riley Innes (Alesha); 10 great-grandchildren, Nadia, Kaidan, Alyssa, Zoey, Charean, Samantha, Stephen, William, Cody, and Braden; great-great-grandchildren Lucien and Nesrine Sylvester; as well as many nieces and nephews. Lorraine is also survived by her sister Dorothy Innes; brother Harvey (Donna) Betteridge; sisters-in-law Joyce Betteridge, Betty Betteridge, and Ruth Betteridge. She was predeceased by her parents James and Sarah (Annie) Betteridge; husband William (Wally) Innes; infant daughter Linda Innes; brothers Jim, Jackie, Ken, Clifford, and Dave. Lorraine was born on March 27, 1928 in Pilot Butte, SK. She was the oldest of eight children; 6 boys and 2 girls. Lorraine then met Wally Innes in Pilot Butte and they were married in 1949. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Regina Lutheran Home for the care and compassion they provided Lorraine. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. by invitation only due to Covid-19.
