Obituary of Lois Loraine Toews

Lois Toews passed away at the age of 81 on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the Wascana Grace Hospice.  She will be greatly missed by family and friends.  Lois was born and raised on the family farm near Shamrock, SK as one of 15 children.  She was predeceased by her parents, Adolph and Melita Arnold; in-law’s, Arthur and Justina Toews; four brothers; and one brother-in-law.  Lois leaves to mourn her loving husband of 61 years, Elvin; children, Audrey and Llyle; grandchildren, Tanner (Freesia), Shaylen (Steve) and Tyson; as well as five brothers; five sisters; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and their families.  She loved and supported her family above all and had many passions as well.  Sewing, quilting, gardening, camping and golfing were just a few of her loves.  In keeping with Lois’ wishes, there will be no funeral service.  Her remains will be interred at a later date in the Shamrock Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Lois to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, 200-4545 Parliament Ave., Regina, SK S4W 0G3.
