Obituary of Ralph Edward Delgaty

Ralph passed away peacefully at the age of 93 in Regina, SK at the palliative unit, Pasqua Hospital on Monday, June 7, 2021 with family by his side.  He was predeceased by his parents James and Edith; wife of 63 years, Myrna; brothers, Gordon and Don; sisters, Reta and Eileen.  Ralph will be sadly missed by children, Lansea (Perry Korol), and Brent (Bertha); grandchildren, Erin (Mike) DiStasi, Ty (Jaqueline Bennett), Shawn (Jarynn Milton) and Gillian; great-grandchildren, Avery, Lincoln, Isabella, Gavin and Molly; brother, Tom; sisters-in-law, Judy Beauchamp and Jan Smith; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Ralph was born in Ashern, MB, the youngest of 6 children.  He married his soul mate, Myrna, in September 1954.  Dad worked for CIBC for 40 years and worked in many different locations across ON, MB and SK. 

His greatest joy was being a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.  In early retirement, he enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, and travel. In later years, he devoted his time to be the primary caregiver for Mom who had been suffering from Alzheimer’s. 

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Green Falls Landing for the care and compassion they provided for the last year and a half.
