Obituary of Dorian Smith

Dorian Smith, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at the age of 94 years. Predeceased by parents Johnny and Eleanor; brother Ian; brothers-in-law Ralph and David; and her loving husband Robert. Dorian is survived by her three sons Christopher (Gill), Julian (Michelle), and Richard (Ola); daughter Fiona (Roland); 9 grandchildren, Coulton, Ryley, Nina, Anna, Hilary (Kade), Robert, Kim, Colin (Stephanie), and Allison; as well as her sisters-in-law, Alison and Margaret; nephews Paul (Fiona), David (Sarah), and Edmund (Maridavid); and her beloved cat, Saw Baw. She was born in 1927 in South Shields, England. Dorian lived a wonderful life and had many talents. She met her husband, Robert, when she was working as a medical photographer at Oxford University in England. He was doing his internship there. Dorian was also an amazing chef and her true passion was cooking! She did her training at Le Cordon Bleu in London, England. Dorian and Robert loved to travel the world but decided to make their permanent home in Canada. However, she always missed England and her family there.
