Sharon Laverne Chuka passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in Regina, SK at the age of 77 years. She was born in Regina, SK to Vivian and Alex. Sharon worked in the Department of Labour for the Apprenticeship Branch as an administrator for 42 years. She was a big fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and loved to watch curling. Sharon was a very colourful person, always dressed up, and loved her jewelry and accessories. She was simply a very “happy-go-lucky” person. Sharon was predeceased by her mother, Vivian Rathgeber, of Regina, SK in 2003; and her grandparents, Greta and Lloyd Arnold of Regina, SK. She is survived by her brother Duane (Marilyn) Chuka of Blind Bay, BC; her sister, Debra (Miguel) Joyal of Sandylands, Manitoba; her brother, Randy (Darlene) Chuka of Leduc, Alberta; her nieces and nephews, Bryce (Wendy) Chuka, Kevin (Carolyn) Chuka, Lori (Rick) Dohnal, and Jarrod (Christy) Chuka, and their children, all from BC; as well as her many valued friends. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Please call Speers Funeral Chapel to RSVP for the service.
