Obituary of Robert Edgar Mason

Bob passed away at home, just after midnight, on Sunday, June 20, 2021. He had been sick with a chronic lung disease for two years. Bob was born in June, 1946 and had just celebrated his 75th birthday. Predeceased by his mother Ethel and father Edgar. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife Glenda; and daughters Carmella and Chantal (Jaden). He is also survived by his 6 sisters; 3 brothers; and countless nieces and nephews. Bob was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He loved his family very much and worked hard for the Saskatchewan wheat pool for close to 25 years. Bob loved Molson Canadian and spent all summer at Wee-Too beach. He cheered for the Montreal Canadiens his entire life. Bob played hockey when he was younger, often telling stories of senior hockey.  He met Glenda in January of 1972 at a mutual friend’s house and they were married by April of 1972. They were married for 49 years. A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 1C5 on Friday July 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association, 2308 Arlington Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7J 3L3.
