My memories of Aunt Annabelle are a treasure.
She was such a kind person who encouraged me and so many others.
A few months ago while Lissa was visiting Annabelle, we got to share together a few minutes on the phone.
Her voice was strong and clear and so wonderful to hear again.
Annabelle has a very special place in my heart.
When someone you love becomes a memory that memory becomes a treasure.
Love and Blessings,
Bob McCartney

I remember Aunty Annabelle fondly. Her love, kindness and generosity always glows when I think of her. She loved me when I was little and when I had grown. She showered unconditional love and I soaked it in. I have many stories but the one when I was her ringbearer at her wedding does impress my memories of how kind, loving and forgiving she was. Practicing for the wedding was all done and the wedding had arrived. I remember being dressed "prettier than a princess" and holding the very important wedding band but I froze and refused to go up to the ceremony! I was in a full blown tantrum when Uncle Glenn picked me up and carried me up front. The wedding went on with me chatting, quite loudly, to my cousins throughout the entire ceremony! I remember feeling like a princess and Aunty Annabelle and Uncle Al showed me nothing but love. She was a gentle soul who shared her love with me. I carry her gift of unconditional love with me and I treasure my memories of her.

ANNABELLE -more than a sister-in-law, always my understanding friend.
In our early years you were a great helper with our children, brought them clothes and treats. And for ten years cut their hair, as well as mine, on Sundays which was your only day off work.
Recently, I so wanted to visit you, but it was not to be.
I will miss you, my friend, but never, never forget you.
Our 70 years of friendship has come to an end; hopefully, I can keep in touch with your family.
Rest peacefully, my dear, you did an outstanding job while you were here.
Love always, Bert
