Obituary of Gordon Arnold
Gord passed away with his son and wife Beryl by his side, just six days before their 63rd wedding anniversary. He was predeceased by his parents; four brothers; one sister; two brothers-in-law; and one sister-in-law. Gord is survived by his wife, Beryl; son, Gordon (Arleene); daughters, Jo-Anne (Greg) Johnston and Lori (Roy) Miller; grandchildren, Len, Katie, Brad, and Taya; great- grandchildren Noah, Trail, and Sunny; and siblings, Alvin, Ralph, Elmer, Alfred, Edna, Marion, Marj, Millie, and Diane.
Gord was a Sun Life representative for 40 years. Many of his clients became friends. His summer pastime was looking after his yard and garden, with his leisure time spent sitting on the deck enjoying the view of the park adjacent to his yard. In Gord’s younger years, he was actively involved in politics. Gord spent time hunting, not so much for the hunting as for spending time enjoying the countryside and the comradery of his hunting buddies. He cared deeply for his children and grandchildren and loved having them over for a barbeque. Gord – always enthusiastic.
