RCMP Assistant Commissioner (Rtd.) Robert John Mills of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully at the age of 94 years. Bob was predeceased by his daughter Jean; his brother Bert; and his sister Norma Sim. He is survived by his wife Betty; son John Mills of Calgary, AB; daughter Joan Mills of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Beth and Sarah Yakimets of Edmonton, AB; sister Ruth Gibbs of Lloydminster, AB; sister Joyce Hougham of Frenchman Butte, SK; sister Mary Moser of Lloydminster, AB; brother-in-law Harold Sim of Paradise Hill, SK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family expresses their sincere appreciation to Dr. Stewart McMillan for his many years of exemplary professional care, and to the staff at Precious Memories Villa for the compassionate care they provided to Bob during his final year. In accordance with Bob’s wishes, a private service has been held.
