WINDRUM, Delbert (Del) Gerald

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of an amazing and loving soul, Delbert Gerald Windrum on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at the age of 83 years. Del was a dedicated husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a strong and passionate business man his entire life. He did many things from door to door sales, to selling cars, to working and managing at the Ipsco steel yard for over 20 years, to finally finding his true passion and opening up his health and wellness business, Del’s Way in 1986.  Del was predeceased by his loving wife Faye; daughter Tina Bulai; parents Robert and Jessie Windrum; father and mother-in-law William and Ruth Thurber; brothers-in-law Dick Clarke and Gary Thurber; and sisters-in-law Marion Windrum and Elsie Thurber. He leaves behind to celebrate his life his children, Dwight (Sandy), Kelly (Jhoy), Robert (Janice), and Patrick (Kimberley); son-in-law Terry Bulai; daughter Nicholeen Christison (Ray); twenty grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Tom (Edna) Windrum, George Windrum, Doreen (Bill) Robertson, Beverley Clarke, and Wayne (Roberta) Windrum; brothers and sister-in-law Jack (Gail) Thurber, Bill Thurber; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. We as a family would like to thank the Cupar and District Nursing Home for all their wonderful care over the last few years of Del’s life. At Del’s request there will be no Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Del may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan, 301 – 2550 12^th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
