My heart bleeds for this beautiful young lady. Such a horrible tragedy. My deepest heartfelt condolences to the families. I remember little jojo as energetic little girl who loved to come out to the park to visit grampa dwayne. This has made me feel so bad that i am nervous and scared to call the family members and pour my heart out to them. I never stopped thinking about little jojo since this horrible news broke. Im not much of a religious man, but i must say that her spirit is powering the lives of everyone she has blessed with her life force. We love you jojo. We will all see you again at one time. Until then we will never ever forget you. Since i have moved away from melville, sad stories and sudden passings of our friends and family and children are becoming too common place. My heart breaks for all of the families of children that must go through these awful tragedies. With all of my love forever. May you find forever peace johanna... we love you.... This is such a tragic loss. Johanna was such a bright light. I remember her coming over to our house with Ally when they were both in public school. She was so quiet and but always had a big smile. She has a very special place in our families heart. Sending much love and strength as you take this unimaginable journey through grief. Frank and Shelby Duckworth
I hope the lyrics from Patrick Droney's song Glitter helps ease some of your pain:
And we don’t
Get to choose
Who we get to love
Or who it is we’re gonna lose
Or what breaks our heart in two
ut no one really dies if the love remains
Cause nothing that dies really goes away
See grief it’s just like glitter
It’s hard to brush away
Bright light and it still shimmers
Like it was yesterday
And if falls like confetti
All of the memories explode like a hand grenade
And it’s sweet and it’s bitter
Grief it’s like glitter
Oh what a mess it makes
What a mess it makes
Past denial and the rage
The what if and the praying on the hardest days
You accept what you can’t change
No one really dies if the love remains
Cause nothing that dies really goes away

I was stunned and saddened to hear of your daughter’s passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and Jude and your family as you do your best to cope with your loss. I always found John Cash song comforting, There will be peace in the valley for me? There'll be no sadness, no sorrow No trouble, There will be peace in the valley for me, Oh well, I'm tired and so weary But I must go alone Till the lord comes and calls, calls me away, There will be peace in the valley for me, for me As well as, Somewhere I read this poem “I am I, and you are you Whatever we were together we still are and always will be And I want people to speak easily of her to laugh the way we always laughed to let her name be ever the household word it always was Without pretense, just as it comes naturally to us all “.
They say, "time heals all wounds". That depends how much time you have and how deep the wound is. It may take a lifetime and God will wipe your tears. May your happy memories, bring you peace. 'Death' is the greatest enigma in life. It has baffled humankind from times out of mind. And yet despite all attempts to solve the mystery, it has remained as mysterious as ever before It is so hard to understand and come to peace with I came to peace by not trying to solve the mystery and by letting go and let God. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul (Psalm 23:2-3a).. I pray this prayer this. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff-- they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long. Take care Allie & Jason Dylan Mohrbutter
