Obituary of Wayne Royce Masson

Wayne was born on January 21, 1938 in Herbert, SK to John and Clara Masson of Ernfold, SK. He was educated in Ernfold, and later at the University of Saskatchewan, where he graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering. Wayne married Gloria, and together they raised three boys, Ray Kaczmer, Reg Kaczmer, and Dwayne Masson. Wayne Masson passed away peacefully with his son Dwayne by his side on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Predeceased by his wife Gloria (1997); his parents, Clara (1974) and John (1990); and his siblings, Boyd (1994), Shirley (2018), Jack (2007), twin sister Elaine (2006) and Glenn (1980). He is survived by his three sons, Ray, Reg, and Dwayne; his wife Mabel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. At Wayne’s request, there will be no service at this time. Interment at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
