Fran and family we are so saddened to hear of Harry's passing. He was always so very helpful whenever we did a performance at a Senior Home, always willing to give a helping hand carrying the instruments. He definitely was "one of a kind" - always very friendly, smiling, and just great to be around. We will definitely miss him, always a gentleman.
Val & I want to pass on our deepest condolences to you Fran and the family.

from Erica Murray in Cape Town.
Harry Clarke was a committed and involved Member of St Luke's where I was Rector for 7 years. I want to share memories which others may not heard of. Harry loved to go to the Symphany concert. He went prepared with a book to read before and, even, during the concert. If the book was too big for his pocket he would tear off some of it to fit his pocket.
Of course he was a wonderful and caring doctor. He had a wry sense of humour. A toboggan I was riding hit a rock. Agony. I called Harry to check if my coccyx was broken or not. He said if I could have a bowel movement in the morning my coccyx was not broken!!
Harry and Fran were a wonderful team together. I thank God for their respective ministries and I pray God's blessing as Fran and the family do their grieving..
REST ETERNAL GRANT UPON HIM AND LET LIGHT PERPETUAL SHIN UPON HIM.

He was our family doctor for many years. He delivered our son on Harry's birthday, having to cut his celebration short to come to the hospital. We enjoyed our time with him and his receptionist, wife Frances. His Christian faith shone through is his medical practise.

Fran and family. We were saddened to hear of Dr.Harry’s passing. He was a constant giver and dad loved the time they spent together at St. Luke’s. Lileith was always grateful to see his friendly face when he heard she was in hospital. He always said that if the food wasn’t very good it wasn’t his fault. His love and caring of his family and patients was a sign that he found the meaning of his life and lived it to the fullest. On behalf of the Christopher family we send our deepest condolences.

Dr. Clarke was a very special man and our family doctor for many years. He came to our home very late at night to check on my baby girl because the symptoms I described were similar to Meningitis.
He was a caring great man. He is a man I always looked up to.

My Uncle Harry was a good man. He worked almost his entire life and yet never seemed to me to be working; he loved helping people, his retirement job was working in the jail. I have fond memories of visits to Fran and Harry's house as a kid. Harry liked to tell the stories of his time living in hotels on Vancouver's water front and would not let me forget my encounters with skunks. Harry is an example of a life well lived.

Our friendship with Harry and Fran goes back 60+ years when we were students at the the U Of S. that was a beautiful write up about Harry a good reminder of the many accomplishments in his life.
