I wish to express condolences to to the family of Don as I have known him for a number of years starting particularly from the RM office in Lumsden and then during our years of curling at the Highland Curling Club. He was a kind and generous person and certainly will be missed. Although I did not get to know his family our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

may not be able to attend the service as we have a major project repair booked at the cottage and getting someone out to do it has taken a year so we may not be able to postpone it. Our hearts will be with you. John and Joey
My sincerest apologies for the loss of your dad. We had the privilege of getting to know him while my mom was at Meadow Edge. Always so enjoyed sitting on the deck and visiting with him when we would visit mom. Unfortunately, mom’s stay there wasn’t long (she fell and was unable to go back and has since passed on as well), but often thought about your dad and wondered how he was doing. Rest easy Uncle Donald. I am sorry I won't be there to celebrate your life with everyone, but I will certainly will be remembering you from here. So many memories that we shared, since I was born "back in the day" and spent time on the farm, trailing around behind you! My family was fortunate to have Don as our neighbour for almost 50 years. I always knew I could count on him if I ever needed help, and I enjoyed our visits. I am so very sorry for your loss.
