Obituary of Genevieve North

Genevieve “Jenny” North passed away peacefully at Haven House at Wintergreene Estates in Regina, SK on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Annie Rissling; father and mother-in-law Arthur and Laura North; sister Marion Lepine; nephews Kevin Rissling and Adrian Lepine; great-niece Savanna Scott; and great-nephew Mason Bondy.  Jenny is survived her husband of 63 years, John; their son Dr. Scott North; brothers Leo (Eileen) Rissling, Gary (Donna) Rissling, Brian (Dolly) Rissling; sister Sandy (Garry) Vandale; and her BFF Carlene McInnes. Our matriarch of the family and apple pie baker extraordinaire has left us to go to a much better place! The family would like to thank the staff at Wintergreen Estates for their excellent and compassionate care. Memorial Service will be held at Christ The King Roman Catholic Church, 3239 Garnet Street, Regina, SK, on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church Cemetery, Kendal, SK., on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.  The family gratefully declines flowers.
