Obituary of Keegan John Joseph Lavallee
On August 10, 2021, our lives changed forever. With broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Keegan John Joseph Lavallee. Keegan was born on June 22nd, 2006 in Regina, Saskatchewan.
From an early age, Keegan had a deep love for hockey and from the moment he stepped on the ice is when his passion for hockey began. His years were spent attending early morning practices, hockey summer camps and late night skates on the rink his Papa Keith would make at their home. He was admired for his dedication to the game and it was always in his nature to be a true team player. He was a champion in more ways than one.
Keegan was a fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Regina Pats and enjoyed attending games with his family. Most importantly, Keegan cherished the times they spent together. Being the funny, cheeky jokester he was, he’d have you laughing with his goofy, playful nature. He was such a joy to be around and was deeply loved by his family.
Keegan also cherished his many friends. From gaming nights or just hanging out at each other’s houses, it was something they all shared together.
Even though his stay here was short, he will continue to stay with us through memories, endless laughs and the happiness that he spread.
Keegan will be forever missed by his mother Jasmine Lavallee; his siblings, Kaylee, Kaleb, Kianna, Karlee and Kyrah; father Darren Tawiyaka; Papa and Mama Keith and Lisa Pratt; Papa Ken Akan; grandfather Conrad Tawiyaka and great-grandmother Hazel Bitternose; his uncle Thomas (Cass) and cousins Kieran, Kason, Sophie and Kendall; his aunt Brittany (Jayden) and his favourite cousin Kohen; aunts Lacey (Jordi) and Zaedea; uncles CJ and Conrad; as well as many special cousins, friends and family members. He was predeceased by his great-grandparents, Olive and Robert Lavallee, Isabel and William Pratt, Orval Bitternose and grandmother Heather Yuzicapi.
