Obituary of Skylar Matthew Hafner

Skylar passed away on August 11, 2021. He was predeceased by his father Rodney James Hafner; some of his grandparents; and close friend MacKenzie Keshane-Hutton. Those who will always love and remember him are, his mother  Carol Stephenson (Marshall Cyr); brothers Rodney Jr. “R.J.,” Fred and Brandon Stephenson; sisters Ashley Stephenson and Shayna-Lee Obey (Dakota Keshane); grandmas Gail Hafner and Linda Shaw; grandpa Dennis Stephenson; aunt Teresa (Brad) Marckoski and aunt Marcia McCudden (Mike); uncle Eric Stephenson; cousins Zack and Sasha Marckoski; special family Tricia and her children Dakota, Kaitie, Isabelle and Grayson; special brothers Kirkland, Jonah, Jesse and Alex; as well as Bob (Alysha) Kerr and special brother Deryl Bengsund and numerous other relatives and friends. Skylar loved dogs, gaming, cars, chilling out after work, and hanging out with family and friends. Skylar had a strong work ethic and had a special love for his work family. He was a proud uncle. Wake will be held at the Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK, on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Sunday, August 22, 2021 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Carry The Kettle First Nation.
