Dearest Joyce and family
So sorry to read of Bill’s passing. Both Al and I have only the best memories of both you and Bill being the best examples of volunteering with a cheerful heart. We had so much fun doing things with you both. My personal best memory was how Bill treated me with such total respect and kindness when he was the parish head of buildings and grounds and I was secretary. I was such a greenhorn reentering the work force after being a stay at home Mom. I credit him with rebuilding my self confidence and I moved on to establishing a 2nd career with gov that I have now happily retired from. We have no words to ease your grief but Bill was definitely one of God’s chosen who touched lives wherever he was. God bless you all.

Our deepest condolences and sympathy to Joyce and family..Though it is not a total surprise, Bill’s valiant fight against the bad C is most admired. My Stentor bro, one of the B2 in SRCI, friend for almost 30 years will be badly missed. Our chat RE Bruins and Cancucks; the Roughrider and the Lions no more.. BTW, I always thought Bill has the resemblance of David Letterman, the humor, the laugh and the jokes.. We pray that our bro will rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.

My deep condolences to Joyce and the family on the passing of Bill. We worked together for quite a few years at SaskTel and spent a couple years curling together as well. He was a great coworker and always had a great sense of humor. I too remember some of the times when there was a gathering of the Chorneyko brothers and Bill. You'd laugh till you cried. Rest in peace Bill.

My sincere condolences to you and your family. -I had the privilege of working side by side with Dr Bill for years and I can still see his wonderful smile and the straight look of Bills face after he had us rolling in laugher with his witticisms. We can only imagine somewhere up there are angels that are now sharing the stories of his time with us from his days at Stentor and SaskTel. RIP Dr Bill - A great ‘Mensch’ and brother in arms .

My sincerest condolences to you Joyce and your family on Bill’s passing. Was a highlight of my SaskTel career to have worked with Bill. He could always be counted on to do what he said he’d do and had a great ability to bring humour to most situations. Always spoke highly of his family and you Joyce. Thinking of you during this difficult time!

Bill was my manager at Sasktel, when I retired he found some nice things to say about me at my retirement event. And some funny things! He had a great sense of humour and a lovely smile. At his retirement event he commented that the best thing to happen to him while he worked was he met his wife Joyce. I don't think he met her at work but over the course of his time at Sasktel, she was the best thing to happen to him. Really sweet guy who loved his wife & his family above all. Rest in peace Bill.

Dear Joyce, Courtney, Derek and Lindsay, I first knew Bill as a parent at St Gregory where his children and mine attended school. He was the dad every school hoped to have on their parent committee. So helpful and proficient in his ideas and actually doing the work to make things happen. Many a time he was out cooking hotdogs for the school opening barbecue or helping out at any school events. Later on I knew him as Joyce and I became good friends. From this relationship, I could see how very much he was loved and respected by his family and his community. I am so deeply sorry for the hurt you are feeling. You had one of the best.

Auntie Joyce, Courtney, Derek, Lindsay and Justin, we are so very sorry for this great loss. Uncle Bill was a kind, fun, thoughtful person. He was quick to laugh, but always with you, not at you. He was smart, but not showy- he just quietly shared his wisdom. He always took an interest in others and was a great listener.
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Until you meet again..
Much love,
Mike and CaryLynn Hough ( Donauer)
