Brent Christensen

Obituary of Brent Michael Christensen

December 21, 1962 - September 10, 2021

Brent was a fellow who danced to the beat of his own drum, even as a child.   He was brilliant, creative, thoughtful, and analytical. He loved to design and build; everything he constructed was beautiful and built to last forever. Most of all he loved to paint. As a self-taught artist, he was truly gifted. He worked in watercolour and acrylics, specializing in prairie landscapes with incredible skies, evocative florals, and stunning portraits of pets and people. His work is enjoyed around the world.

Brent was born in Outlook, SK, raised in Regina, and lived in Pilot Butte for the past 35 years with his brother and best friend, Kelly.

Brent is survived by his father, Ray; sister, Krista (Gord Sinnett); brother, Kelly (Rhonda Perry); extended family, many friends, and his much loved cat, Little Dude. He was predeceased by his mother, Deanna (nee Gillespie) in 2009; brother, Mark in 1987; and his grandparents, William and Connie Christensen and Dr. E.D. and Dorothy Gillespie.

Brent has been cremated and a private family gathering will be held at a later date. Brent loved socializing with people and he loved to laugh. Please remember him with a smile. He was loved and will be missed.

Flowers are gratefully declined. If you wish, donations to Salthaven West, a wild animal rescue in Regina, would be appreciated as Brent loved animals and they loved him:  Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation, PO Box 601, Mount Brydges, ON N0L 1W0   www.salthaven.org
