Obituary of Timothy James Bamford
Timothy James Bamford late of Regina, SK, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 13, 2021 at the age of 39. Tim was predeceased by his brother Patrick and his grandfather, Lloyd Glover. Tim is survived by his mother and father, Gloria and Perry; sisters, Rene (Ryan) Spelliscy, Jennifer and Tikka (Ty) Solonynko; daughters, Braxton (10), Lennon (1) and Oaklynn (5mths); the love of his life, Amanda Anderson; grandmothers, Delores and Bernice; niece Kadi, nephews, Braeden, Odin and Maverick; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers, teammates, and lifelong friends.
Tim’s love for adventure and challenges connected him to so many different circles of people. He thrived to experience all that nature and sport could provide him. His commitment to challenge all the people he knew and loved brought out his passion for competition and friendly banter. He was fierce in his love for sports, family, friends, a healthy lifestyle and most of all, his girls.
Tim was the most confident, protective, fearless and driven man in everything he did, sometimes to a fault. He made friends and connected to so many people so easily that he had a magnetic personality. He always had a deep compassionate for the human spirit. When he didn’t feel like you liked or loved him, he worked tirelessly to win you over, and in turn ended up harassing you into playing one of the many sports he enjoyed playing.
His love and commitment to his daughters was a privilege to witness. He was always determined to ensure that his daughters grew into strong, independent, confident, self-reliant and caring individuals who contributed only good to the world. He led by example through his career in nursing. He was often found to be the goofy nurse that anyone could have a great conversation with, sometimes in the worst moments of their life.
You never had a conversation with him without questioning all the big things in life. He made life colourful to all those around him and his crazy antics brought laughter to all those who knew him, and he will be missed by all.
Celebration of life will be determined at a near date. We wish to convey our sincere gratitude for the continuous and outpouring love, support and condolences.
