Dear Louise. We were so saddened to hear of the loss of Lloyd. Having spent 10 years across the hall at Quance Villa, Lloyd always had a friendly smile and hello for us when we met in the hall or parkade and the few group gatherings we had. Sending much strength and warm thoughts your way in the days ahead. Sincerely Michelle & Warren Korbo (#112)

The news took the wind out of me. I first met lloyd when he arrived in Regina from Winnioeg with his good friend Dennis McCarthy to set the world on fire and that's exactly what he did. The absolute best Acoustic installer in western Canada. We worked for the same company he taught me so much always willing to show you all the tricks he had acquired. We came to be good friends, there were so many of us all good friends worked together had beers together and played cards together, although his beautiful wife Loise really frowned on us playing cards with Lloyd but it was all good fun.
I left Regina in 89 we went our own ways each to create a business of our dreams. I would still run into Lloyd on visits back to see family and ran into him at Rider game when he came to Vanc, still after so many years he had that smile that no matter how bad you felt he would make you laugh and smile. When I returned 24 years later Lloyd was still the guy I knew with the smile. We found out we were both part of the zipper club (heart surgery). We both agreed this business takes its toll on you with the stress, but doing something you love, well not too many people can say that, that's why we did it. A few years later he decided enough babysitting time to fish and spend time with kids, grandkids and his lovely wife.
You will be truly be missed by all, Gods speed Lloyd to a better place of peace watching over all those you loved, your spirit will always be with us all.
Louis, and family I wish all the best in.this time of sadness, try to think of his smiles that's what he would want, as he will be in your heart.
Craig & Linda Melnyk and family

The incredible loss of Lloyd came as a shock to us. He was a dear friend who taught us many life lessons from dry-walling techniques, to fishing techniques. It is because of him, that our lines are always tight, and we know where to find the fish. We shared many great laughs over the years at Island View, and have many incredible fishing memories and stories with Lloyd. Louise and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
