Anita Tom

Obituary of Anita Tom

Anita (Mo Chee) Tom (nee Lok), late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2021 at the age of 73 years, surrounded by loved ones.

Anita was born in Hong Kong on April 19, 1948 and immigrated to Canada in 1975.  She met her beloved husband, Romie, of 41 years in Regina. They went on to have two children all while running different family owned businesses.  Everyone who knew Anita, immediately saw her friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality.  She enjoyed attending social events, and getting together for family dinners.  She always had a keen eye for interior decorating, and transformed the family house into our home.  You could also find her in the kitchen cooking up the next delicious meal, or baking up a storm which was often eaten faster than it was made!

In 2013, she proudly became a grandma and welcomed five grandchildren into her life over the next eight years.  Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and nothing delighted her more than spending time with them, and watching them grow and flourish.  We will miss her tremendously, and think of her always.

She was predeceased by her parents King Man Lok and Yin Fong Tse; brothers Tony, and Eddy Lok.

Anita is survived by her loving husband, Romie Tom; children Justin (Lana) Tom, and Jennifer (Jeremy) Landgraf; five grandchildren Jaxon Tom; Joanna, Julia, Jacquelyn, and Joseph Landgraf; brother Peter (Lina) Lok of Hong Kong; sister Agnes (Victor) Lau of Toronto, ON; brother Francis (Amy) Lok of Vancouver, BC; sister-in-law Angela Lok of Regina; and numerous nieces, and nephews.

A private family interment will be held.
