August 8, 1995 – October 2, 2021

Thunderchild passed away peacefully on October 2, 2021 at the age of 26. He was born August 8, 1995 at Wetaskwin, Alberta. Thunderchild was predeceased by his father Vernon Nanapay; brothers Colin Nanapay, Conrad McNabb and Cole Manyshots; brother-in-law Micheal-Dean Tuckanow; grandparents John Nanapay, Elizabeth Nanapay, Howard Creeley, Pauline Creely and Sam Brass. Thunderchild is survived by his mother Barbara Creeley Nanapay; siblings Lorraine, Shaun, Ashley (Wes), Jasmine (Dwight), Jade (Tony) and Sage; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.  A Traditional Wake will be held on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Okanese Learning Centre, Okanese First Nation.   Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.  To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.speersfuneralchapel.com
