KRAMMER, Ernest (Ernie) Albert passed away in Regina, Saskatchewan, Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the age of 61. Ernie was born in Regina on April 26, 1960, the youngest of four children to John and Anna (Bardutz) Krammer.

Ernie was predeceased by his parents (John, 2006; Anna, 2008). He is survived by his wife, Adele (Chopty) Krammer, two children, Adam (Julia) and Melanie (Jason),

siblings, Fred, Les (Colleen), and Joan, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Ernie enjoyed spending time with his first granddaughter, Olivia, and was looking forward to meeting two more grandchildren in 2022.

Ernie attended St. Augustine Elementary School, Balfour High School, and furthered his education by taking various classes at the University of Regina. He attended SIAST where he obtained his Refrigeration and Steam Engineering Certificate. He also attended WABC Radio and Broadcasting where he pursued his interest in radio and TV operations, and worked for a short time in this field. Ernie enjoyed photography, broadcasting, and film. He was creative and artistic - a trait he nourished and encouraged in his children.

Ernie had a passion for drumming and music that started at an early age with a drum set from his brother, Fred. This fueled Ernie’s interest to pursue opportunities for drumming as well as teaching private lessons. He played in various bands, including the Saskatchewan Roughrider Pep Band, and participated in community drum circles.

Ernie was a skilled craftsman and a very hard worker with an eye for detail.  He built his first house at the age of 19 with his Dad, where he gained invaluable knowledge and skills that he continued to build on throughout his life. When Ernie built or fixed something, you knew it was done right and meant to last.

Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK, on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 2026 Winnipeg Street, Regina, SK, on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Gerry Bauche officiating.  For those unable to attend the Funeral Mass please visit Ernie’s Tribute page at www.speersfuneralchapel.com to view the livestream of the service.
