To Josef Schubert, and all Schubert Family.
We had the privilege to meet Monica, more than 30 years ago in Canada. She was an extraordinary person and was very passionate and excelled in about everything she did — as a mother and wife, as an advocate for justice and women's rights, and as we had the chance to meet her — as a friend. She was a generous host, and we fondly remember her cooking and her creative recipes.
She shared her love of music, literature, and travel with us. We met with her in Canada, England, Israel, and New Zealand, and she was always eager to travel and see new sights and explore new cultures. She shared travel tips with us, what concerts we ought to go to, and which books to read.
We had the honor while in Canada to have her and Josef be the godparents of our son that was born there. We couldn’t be more grateful that they accepted this position. In the past year we had a weekly Zoom meeting where even from a distance we could remember how kind, generous and humorous she was, while she shared stories from her childhood and many years of travel.
Our sincere condolences, Monica will truly be missed.
מן השמיים תנוחמו. שולחים חיבוק מרחוק,

Jon, Jeremy and family ; Although we never met your mother we feel like we somehow knew her through you Jon and Jeremy. She seemed to be a great lady with a lot to give. Wish we had met her in person as Jeremy spent a lot of time at our house being a good friend of Kevin’S and the pleasant relationship with you Jon, when we worked together at SGI .
Our deepest sympathies and may all the memories of your Mom help you in these difficult times .
Larry and Monique Tegart . Happy Thanksgiving to all .
