My sincere condolences on Philip's passing.
From my conversations with Philip, I know that his family was his first and greatest love. His voice was filled with fondness and love when he spoke of you.
He will be missed as an artist and a friend by everyone in the Prairie Artists Guild. We will miss his enthusiasm, talent, kind words and smile,
Philip had an inner shining light that we will remember. His legacy will live on in all the great work he did and his family.

Our condolences to Lily Cheah and family from my husband Earl and I. We always enjoyed talking to Philip. The twinkle in his eyes showed his sense of humor. His artwork was amazing and he always surprised the members of the Prairie Artists Guild with a new piece that was very unique. He will be greatly missed by all of our members.

Uncle Kam Thong or “Thong Zai Suk” as we call him was my youngest uncle. When I was a little girl, spending a holiday in Port Dickson with him and Auntie Lily, Ping and Lyng was the highlight of my school vacation. I shall always remember him as the gentle soul with a ready smile who dearly loved his family. That’s my uncle, a man with a huge capacity to love. Rest in peace, Thong Zai Suk. And remember to say hi to my dad for me. ❤️

To the dearest Cheah/Manz/Wasserman family, Uncle Philip was a sparkle of a man. We honour him today by donating to the Creative Kids Program at Saskculture.ca to provide low-income children to experience the art he so loved to express. Our love and white light is with all of you.
Rest in Power Uncle Philip.

My sympathy to you Lily and your family. I hope your deep faith will help you through the trying days ahead of you.
I will remember Philip for his hearty laugh, smile, and good stories. Philip, Lily and I met through mutual friends and we shared some meals and tea together. I would give Philip some fish and fish bones and he would give me one of his delicious cakes. His artwork was beautiful. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him.

I met Phillip through the Prairie Artist Guild. He was always so filled with joy over creating his art and was so willing to share his process with others. He freely spoke proudly about his family. He was an absolute joy to know and he will be missed in the Artist Community. We can appreciate how much he will be missed by his family. My condolences to you all.
