Obituary of Reginald Robert Lawrence

Reg Lawrence, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2021 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his parents, Len and Edith, Reg is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Ruth; daughters Wendi (Mike) Davidson, Karin Wees (Roberto), and son Kirby Kohlruss (Anita). He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Tara, Jeffrey, Chad (Chelsea), Quinn (Kahner); three great-grandchildren, Ainzlee, Paisley and Maverick; two brothers James (Margaret) and John (Bonnie); two brothers-in-law Andy (Loreena), Brian (Gail); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Reg graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in pharmacy and enjoyed his 33-year career where he began in retail pharmacy and worked the bulk of his career at the Regina Plains Health Centre. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Wascana Golf and Country Club for over 20 years. Once the snow flew and golf season ended, he loved to spend his free time in winter curling as a member of the Tartan Curling Club. Reg was well loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Out of respect for Reg’s wishes a private celebration of his life will occur at a later date.
